Historical Scene Investigation
Historical Scene Investigation allows for students to take on the role of detectives or investigators. They are presented with two sides of the same story. Before they read through the information on the website, give them a graphic organizer to fill out to keep the information they read organized. After reviewing information from both sides, students will answer the question: which side is right?
Geoguessr
Geoguessr is a fun website that allows students to “guess” where a location is by what they see. A teacher can select a country or decide to play in the entire world. With this website, you will have to create an account and can only play one free game a day. For two dollars a month, you can play an unlimited number of games. Curious Kid Podcast
Podcasts are a great way to get students engaged in the content they are learning. Teachers can give students graphic organizers to fill out as they listen to the podcast. Curious Kid Podcast teaches students about Science and is hosted by a child and her father. However, teachers can assess and use some of the content provided to help teach other content areas.
