For this activity, students will be asked to observe and record what they see in their natural surroundings. Students can observe both living and nonliving things in their environment, all while making notes in their journals. Students can sketch what they see, as well as writing about it. This activity is good because it can be used for any grade level in a wide range of subjects. It also provides an accessible activity to students with limited access to technology.
