Fraction Poster
This is a project based assessment. Students will be instructed to create a poster. The poster will have a total of four representations of a assigned fraction. Students can use any form of representation they chose, but one form will be the original representation of the fraction.
The goal of this activity is to insure students understand the differences in the numerator and the denominator. By creating a poster that displays the what portion of a object or of objects a numerator takes up, a teacher will be able to what if thier students understand this concept.
