During this hectic time of distance learning, we must keep our students in mind. Here are some advantages and disadvantages to distance learning.
Advantages:
-
Only the teacher sees the student's work. This truly allows creativity to exist without the anxiety or pressure caused by peer's opinions.
-
More creativity and individuality is a result of learning and completing work outside of the classroom and peer's influence (specifically in art and music)

Disadvantages
-
Some students may have limited or no access to
-
Internet
-
Materials
-
Technology
-
-
Without a classroom, some students may have no "learning area"
-
Unfortunately, some parents may not be supportive of distance learning and refuse to encourage their children to complete their school work (especially for subjects like Music and Art because they may be perceived as less important).
